Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location in the bustling district of Alfama. Trams run right outside and there are plenty of attractions within a walkable distance. Well equipped with functional furniture and kitchen equipment, all full of character, see other reviews for opposing ideas of 'character'. (No instructions on expectations given for emptying bins at end of stay which would have been helpful to know).

The apartment is in a great location and for where it is, it is very affordable compared to other properties. The apartment was clean and had everything that was needed, but I agree with previous reviews that overall it is a bit run down - the hot water is very intermittent and it could do with some replacement of broken goods (chairs, lamps, some kitchen utensils), but overall the apartment met our needs. It does have good air conditioning in the house except for the green bedroom which would be important in hotter weather. The noise wasn’t a big issue for us- the doors were actually very sound proof and the neighbours weren’t noisy. The host was a responsive host and the check in was a very easy and smooth process for us.

our stay was really good. We recommend this appartment surely. The acco is really well located, and properly clean, well equiped. Also nica looking interior. Restaurants around the corner. Also has a nice view on the balkony. :-) The inner room has no windows, and front room can be slightly noisy in the early morning. The communication is not bad, but some more instructions would be nice - incl how the leave the appartment when going home. Further, really enjoyed our stay

#76925. Idéale pour visiter Lisbonne
L’appartement proposé était propre et spacieux. La localisation est idéale pour visiter Lisbonne avec une vue sur la mer très appréciable. Tania avait envoyé les informations nécessaires pour récupérer les clés auprès du propriétaire à notre arrivée mais j’étais passer à côté du message. Nous avons donc récupérer les clés dans le restaurant en bas tenu par le frère de l'hôte. En revanche, nous avons eu pas mal de soucis de bruit (une chambre donnant sur la rue très bruyante, une autre où l’on entendait les voisins et une avec un chien qui hurlait) Les lits ne sont pas hyper confortable donc correct pour juste quelques nuits. 3 escaliers à monter sans ascenseur donc pas évident pour les personnes ayant des difficultés. L’arrivée n’a pas pu être flexible mais l'hôte nous a grandement faciliter car nous avons pu laisser nos valises au restaurant en bas de l’immeuble (chez son frère)
